Week 9 - Creative Homework

We would like your child to create a model of either a volcano or a dinosaur of their choice. They may use any material that they wish e.g. junk modelling, clay, hamma beads etc.  We are happy for this to be a joint effort with a grown up! Be as creative as you like!  Please send in all models on Thursday 11th July.

Week 4 - Homework 17th May

This week as we have been talking about traditional tales and fairy tales, we would like the children to draw and label a picture of their favourite traditional tale or fairy tale character and label it. Please encourage them to sound out the words by themselves and record  all the sounds that they can hear.

Homework Week 3  – 10th May 2019

Our topic for the next few weeks is traditional tales and we would like the children to be exposed to lots of fairy tales and traditional tales. For your child’s homework please could we ask that you read at least one fairy tale with them and ask them questions about the book and discuss the moral of the story with them. If  you do not have any books with fairy tales in you can find some EBooks online. Examples of some fairy tales are: The Little Mermaid, The Snow Queen, Rapunzel, Little Red Riding Hood. The 3 Little Pigs. Jack and the Bean Stalk.

Homework - 3rd May 2019

This week as we have been talking about our trip to the farm and farm animals, we would like the children to draw and label a picture of their favourite farm animal/animals and label it. Please encourage them to sound out the words by themselves and record  all the sounds that they can hear.

Week 1 - Homework

This week we would like your children to practise number formation.  We have been practising this in school and working on the numbers each particular child finds difficult or are not forming correctly. In the homework book there are numbers 0-9 to practise , first tracing, then writing some  independently. Please can you then practise any they struggle with.
