I am delighted to introduce myself as the Headteacher at Tadley Primary School. I have received a very warm welcome from the staff, children and parents and am excited about the next phase in the school’s journey. Having been a Headteacher for 12 years in two other schools I am already very impressed by the strength of the school team and their determination to ensure each child develops a passion for learning in a warm and nurturing environment.
Founded in the late nineteenth century, Tadley Community Primary School is the original village school and remains at the heart of our community. It is a two-form entry, non-denominational school catering for children between the ages of 4 and 11. Our accommodation ranges from original classrooms which have been totally re- purposed to provide excellent facilities for our youngest children, to modern purpose-built classrooms for our older children. Our playgrounds are large and very well equipped, thanks to the sterling efforts of our PTA.
Tadley is a happy school where we maximise each learning opportunity and celebrate childrens’ successes every step of the way. We offer the children an ever increasing range of visits, clubs and extra-curricular activities to ensure their primary experience is truly memorable. Oftsed rate us as a Good school, but we are not content with that and strive to become Outstanding. We strongly believe in working together with parents and hope you will enjoy the many opportunities to be involved in school life.
Visits to the school are warmly welcomed so please contact Karen Lavender in the school office (0118 981 3805) or e-mail email@example.com to make an appointment.
