What is the School ?
The School Council members are elected by all pupils in the school. They are responsible for working with the staff to improve the school by representing the ideas and wishes of the children.
At each meeting we have an agenda to discuss, minutes are taken and the lors take these back to their classes and discuss them with their class or feed information back.
This year the School Council have been talking about reading in the school and especially how they can encourage more children to read for pleasure. One of their ideas has been to organise a sponsored read to encourage our pupils to read more and improve the selection of books available.
